    Just wondering if everyone is providing petals or cofetti or bubbles etc. at their ceremony?

    Has anyone been to a ceremony where there has been no petals etc. 'thrown' whilst the bride and grrom walk down the aisle?

    Thanks =)

    I'm not providing any and I actually haven't been to a wedding where they did have confetti or bubbles.

    We're doing a sparklers send off from the reception, but we don't want any tossing after the ceremony. We'll be outside...don't want anything that could hurt the birdies! One of my SILs had bubbles...it was kind of lame because those little wands in the wedding bubbles jars don't produce as much as the ones we had as kids.

    I'm having bubbles placed in "champagne bottles". I'm sure this will put us in a more celebratory mood. :)

    We'll be passing out ribbon wands for people to wave.  We're not allowed to throw anything at our church.

    Honestly I haven't even thought about it. I always see the cute bubbles pictures and think "Oh how cute!" But then...It'll be cold at our wedding so I don't think it'd have the same effect. Lol.

    we're not having anything.  I've only been to one wedding that had something and it was bubbles. It didn't work out well at all because the wind really pushed the bubbles in one direction, which was not the aisle.  So there were only a few bubbles making it towards the bride and groom.

    We didn't have anything thrown at us. I thought about putting some petals out for the "aisle people" but then just forgot about it.

    A lot of venues don't allow anything to be tossed because of clean-up, so I'm sure many weddings don't have it. If it's not your style, don't feel obligated to do it! Smile
