You can look it up on their websites I believe. you should be able to put the weight and dimensions of the package as well as where you are shipping to (and from where) and it will give you a chart with the prices depending which service you choose. personally, I usually find the post office cheapest, but maybe not them most reliable.
generally, I find UPS is cheaper.
Although, USPS (united states postal service) is generally the cheapest (and FedEx and UPS both contract with USPS to use USPS's shipping routes, btw).
I'm drawn to UPS as well but not because of the color, although I do like brown ;)
Our UPS guy is SO much nicer than our FedEx guy. FedEx guy is so rude, I hate it when he comes in.
USPS sucks thought because they refuse to leae anything on the porch! I'm finding both fedex and UPS websites VERY FRUSTRATING. I
m trying to say i have a 10x10x10 box that weights 10lbs. and I'm going to send it to the same place. I just wanna see the numbers. It won't give me numbers :(
Why is it so difficult?
I think they are pretty comparable. I always tend to use UPS, because the driver that services our apartment knows me from work, and he delivers so much he will go out of his way to bring me packages to work if I am not home.
But, I haven't had any issues with FedEx either, so I really don't have a preference, LOL.
I just don't know like.. how to sell things on WB and then ship them. When I was planning my wedding, buying things on WB, the girls would ask me what my zip code was to estimate shipping. The packages almost always came UPS and FedEx, not USPS.
When I go to both their websites, I can't find anything that only needs a zip code?!?! Bah.
I was asking the same thing yesterday, and I read an article which says that USPS is cheapest if your article is under 2 lbs, but if its more, then Fed Ex is cheapest. UPS is the most expensive all around.

In your experience what have you found? They are both very close to myhouse and I can't decide. I'm drawn to UPS though because my favorite color is brown... ha
