I’ve heard of it being bad luck for the groom to see the bride’s wedding dress prior to the wedding day, but is that said also for the veil?
I’m def keeping my dress a secret until the day of, but we’re not doing the tradition of being apart the night before and not seeing each other until the ceremony. (We’re doing first look photos before the ceremony too.)
But… I kind of want to show my fiance my veil just because I’m so excited!

My husband saw my veil and all my accessories before the wedding. He also knew I had a poofy ballgown, he just didn’t see the exact dress. I think its fine, but I really don’t buy into a lot of superstitions (we saw each other before the wedding too).

Not sure if it’s bad luck, but I kept my veil hidden from my FI. Quite difficult as it was cathedral length! Luckily the company doing my gown pressing/steaming also did my veil and delivered it to our hotel room on the wedding day so I just had to keep it hidden until dropping it off a week prior!

Mine has seen everything but the dress. I don’t think the veil is really a big deal, it’s the dress that’s the headlining act.
