So......after many attempts to find "the dress" I at last found one that I LOVE. and OF COURSE it is nothing like I thought I would get. My mom loves it and keeps telling me I have to get it. But now I am wondering if it actually looks like a bride dress or just a dress? Also my color theme is black and white, does this work? Agh! Some reassurance needed!
Also, the pic of me in it doesn't quite show of the detail in the dress, so I attached one from the designer.

Why wouldn't it look "bridey"? It's gorgeous, my friend has that dress and is wearing it very soon. I think it's perfect, the best part is that with that dress you really can do what you want with your hair (up or down) and accessories!

I definitely think it is "bride-y" enough. I see that dress and I think, "What a beautiful bridal gown!" I don't think "Wow, what a summer dress that is." It looks great on you, and is stunning
Even if I saw that dress hanging amongst other dresses at a random store, I would still assume it was a wedding dress. It's very bridal and you look great. BTW, can I just tell you how much I love the back of that dress?
It definitely works! I actually love that it has the versatility to be a wedding dress AND a formal dress for another occasion. Ever been to a black & white ball? You could rock that dress many times over. It looks great on you!

If you feel gorgeous in it, that's all that matters. You can wear anything you want, regardless of other people's opinions since everyone has their own tastes.
I haven't seen a dress similar to this so I love that about it. It definitely fits in the "Bride" department without getting too over the top. Love it!

I think the question you should ask is if it's "bridey" for you? I see a train so that leads me to think that it is a wedding dress, but what one considers bridey someone else might not. Does it go with your theme, venue, etc? If it does, then you're good. Also, when you add a veil (if you plan to wear one) it may definitely give it that finishing bridal touch.
It looks GORGEOUS on you and it is totally "Bridey"! I have actually had that Enzoani gown on...and I must say not everyone can pull that off like you have!! Its great! :)
