Weddingbee boards
weddingbee is my place to talk about weddings. Otherwise I think I would drive everyone crazy. I actually don't talk about my wedding too much unless other people ask...but I LOVE the bee!
Haha tell me about it! I'm like up to my eyeballs in wedding this week, as i'm trying to finish Save the dates and get a hotel block set up, registries finished and wedding website finished up!
That's how I was - I felt like I was burning everyone else out with all my talk. So I'd come on here and get all my wedding talk out so I could talk like a normal human-being to everyone else.
our wedding is this weekend and my fi (b/c he's stressed out and up all night thinking about the wedding) said to me last night.... let's NOT talk about the wedding so it's not in my head. yeah. ok. that's really easy!
MY FI and I tried to get through one dinner without talking about the wedding. It was a pretty quiet dinner! Haha! Luckily it'll all be over soon and I know we'll have plenty of new things to talk about in the future.
haha this is why I am developing a very strong connection to all of my fellow bees & I love how some start to look familiar.. as in Ive see some bees in several other threads & I really feel like we get to know each other!
LoL! I totally agree! My mind is constantly thinking about wedding-related stuff! This week I've been thinking about my dress and trying to figure out BM & MOH dresses!
YES. I try really hard not to talk about it all the time. I make a conscious effort. lol. No matter how hard I try, someone always asks. I work with all women in their early to mid 20s and only a couple are married and most are single. They want to know everything all the time.
I think that I'M starting to get sick of hearing about it. lol
Do you find meeting a random bride and talking about wedding plans like you were BFF's?!
all my wedding conversations i do it here ... this is my wedding therapy... but i also drive my mom and my best friend crazy
Thank the heavens above for WB - - Like many of the girls I don't mention any wedding related topics or info unless someone asks and even then I don't give long drawn out answers. But let me tell you - if you wanna talk weddings I can go on day and night 24/7 and thats no lie

I'm actually having a harder time not talking about "house" plans. I haven't really gotten into spilling wedding plans, but I'm surrounded by weddings at "work" so out of work, I don't talk about anything wedding, lol
It was before I got to wedding bee. I always told myself I didn't want to be "one of those brides" that ate, talked, breathed, weddings, but it does take over your life! So man, am I biting my tongue. In comes wedding bee! Yay! This helps to get my wedding fix, questions, and thoughts out there.
yup! Weddingbee is my outlet for wedding related talk!! THe only person I talk to mostly about the wedding is my mom. I will talk to FI about things that are important or I know he would want to be a part of the decision but if I talked about it with him as much as I think about it then it would drive him up the wall!!
@LaborofLove: SERIOUSLY! I went to a wedding recently where I didn't no a single soul at my table besides my FI and the girl next to me and I talked, traded e-mails and now consistently email about wedding stuff!
