KingsDaughter: I’m also a huge Christmas season fan, but I’m from the US, so I don’t like to celebrate until after our Thaksgiving. When I was little we would take the Christmas CDs to Thanksgiving at my grandparent’s house, but we weren’t allowed to listen to them until the ride home!

KingsDaughter: I can’t wait to go Christmas tree hunting! I completely understand. I’m having the first of my Thanksgiving dinners this Saturday, the turkey is in my freezer and the apple cider is in the fridge. I decorate literally the day after Remembrance Day. Just under three months. Lol

My birthday is the day before Christmas.

I hate Christmas. I am a literal grinch and would prefer it never happened ever. I’ll be in my snow cave once people start getting all merry and cheerful. Bah!

I love Christmas, I can’t wait until I can start decorating the tree and getting everybody their presents! However what does annoy me in a way is that the big department stores opened their ‘Christmas Shop’ – a section dedicated to Christmas stuff in every department store – on the 18th of September! While I loved looking at the decorations, it still was way too early in my opinion, and I love Christmas, so much so that I have Christmas songs on my ipod and listen to them year round!

ETA: We don’t have Thanksgiving here and Halloween isn’t big here either.

KingsDaughter: I used to enjoy it as a kid but my MIL has kind of ruined it for my adult life. She goes way overboard with everything and turns it into a hassle.

I’m the craziest Christmas fan I know but even I think that decorating after Halloween is crazy early! Like the other bees, I need US-Thanksgiving out of the way first.

I’m not feeling it yet because I’m busy enjoying pumpkin this and pumpkin that 🙂

I think you’re lucky being in Canada, I love snow and I feel like we never get enough where I am. Are you guys guaranteed to have a White Christmas? If so I’m making travel plans lol

I do not like cold weather but I love Xmas season. The trees, decorating, getting together with family..aaah so exciting. This year we are going to EU in December so we get to visit Xmas markets in wonderful towns and we get to celebrate my nephew’s first Xmas. I am so ready for Xmas!!

ME! I saw that my local Target started putting up some Holiday stuff (lights and yard decorations) and I nearly ran around the store to celebrate. Come… oh, 24min from now when it’s officially October, I consider it HOLIDAY SEASON, YAYYYYYYYY!!!

mochabee: A snowy white Christmas is never guaranteed in Canada. Well, maybe if you live in the Territories, or the northern third of most provinces, or something… But where most of the population lives, it’s brown for Christmas as often as it is white. You are, however, pretty much guaranteed icy driveways on hallowe’en! Costumes for kids have to fit overtop your winter coat!
