As of right now, these are the ones I think I'm going with, but I do miss the satin and knot toe!

P.S. Sorry my subject is so negative! I might try reposting if I don't hear from anyone. ... or just assume that yellow shoes really are few and far between :)
Well, I was gonna come on here and suggest the Carmens from J.Crew 'cause they're my shoes, haha!
I agree - good yellow shoes are VERY hard to find! I was looking for heels, so I'm not sure how much help I can be. I'll do some research for ya and see if I can come up with anything! :-)
I love ShopStyle - here's a link to what they have: http://www.shopstyle.com/browse?fts=yellow+flats
They are GORGEOUS amanda.lynn, I am excited for you!
(It's probably a good thing, bc a good portion of our reception is outside, so I'm getting forced into wearing reasonable shoes that I won't destroy in grass.)
LOVE those JCrew though!
I bought these yellow shoes to MAYBE wear under my dress or to just wear for any time. They have a low heel.
I found out later that they're the ones that Mrs. Sprinkle wore, too.

Um, heck ya they are hard to find and usually ugly. FH isn't much taller than I am, maybe 2 inches so I don't want to be taller than him at our wedding. How hard is it to find a soft yellow (not bright yellow) kitten heel slip on that isn't dyeable? Well, I've been looking since before I found my dress and I haven't seen anything.
Personally, my next thought is wondering if I can find a pattern shoe with yellow and grey in it ala Betsey Johnson if I can't find exactly what I am looking for.
yes i completely agree, i am a 7.5 too and am looking for a mid heel 2-3inches...
i do love these from nina:

Here are a few that I really like:
I don't think any of those are silk, but they're super cute!!!
I had a really hard time! I ended up searching Ebay everyday for J.Crew shoes I couldn't afford to pay retail for. I did eventually find some I loved. I did see that there were a lot more options once spring came around

Hi all! Here's hoping someone out there can help!
My dress was accidentally chopped too short. While DEVASTATING at first, it has ended up a mixed blessing because I have a free dress that is "hemmed" :) to the perfect length for me to wear flats or kitten heels. But I am getting increasingly bummed again because I had my heart set on something satin with a knotted toe, or cute patent leather with a peep toe or d'orsay... Can anyone help?? I am looking for yellow, or even better a marigold like color, to match my bouquet and wedding colors. I loved the J Crew Martine or Carmen, but I can't do the heel anymore.
I did like these Ras ones, but I seem to be too late on a lot of cute shoes!! Maybe the good brightly colored spring ones aren't out yet??
I'm a size 7.5 if anyone knows a specific awesome pair out there in the universe. :) Here's hoping you all know something that I haven't found in my hours of searching!!
