I had two maids of honor, and it worked out great!!! I’ve had two BFFs for a long time, and I couldn’t choose between the two. They were both really happy to be a part of the wedding party and honored to be MOHs, and it was nice having that extra support ๐Ÿ™‚

I had a maid of honor and matron of honor!  My sister was my MaidOH, but she isn’t into the whole planning thing, and isn’t all that reliable, while my sister-in-law (who I’m also very close with) loves planning, is reliable, and knows my style and preferences.  I wanted her to be in charge of things, but didn’t feel right asking her to do MOH duties without the title, so she is my MatronOH and will stand behind my sister in the wedding.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@cherryblossomlove:  Nope, I think it’s becoming more and more common! I was in the exact same boat as you – both of my MOHs lived in Seattle, so I recruited the help of my BMs here in Houston on a lot of the wedding planning stuff.
