That's fine. Some people prefer giving gifts in person but if that is what you want to do then do it.
Go for it! Would be nice having it arrive before the wedding, they'll get unexpected and good surprise
I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but I would rather give my girls their gifts in person, and if I was a bridesmaid, I would rather receive the gift in person. It is just more personal that way, and I would want to share in the joy of the gift; whether as the giver or as the receiver.
Would you be able to deliver it at the rehearsal dinner? Or the morning of the wedding?
i was planning on giving my girls their gifts at the RD.... is that not normal???
I agree with spaganya... why don't you just give it to them when they are with you for the actual wedding??? I'm confused
I think it is best to do it at the RD. That seems the most personal, and is tradition.

My bachelorette party is in two weeks. The only time I'll see the girls between now and the wedding is the bachelorette party.
I'm getting my girls a $50 gift certificate to their favorite store, and also a great tote bag from Bath and Body Works. I really want to get them this particular tote bag with lotion, soap, and perfume, I think it's the best gift at BBW, it's pretty and has great stuff in it, and they deserve a great gift.
The tote bag is $35. I know there's a chance it could go on sale between now and the wedding (six weeks from now). B/c two exactly like it without summer scents were on sale (I just missed them, they got sold out).
I would like to wait til that bag is on sale and then have it delivered to their house (I'm assuming it won't happen for a while that's why I'm saying I'll have to have it delivered). Of course there's the option of giving them their gift certificate at the bachelorette party and say another gift is coming for them in the mail, but because the tote bag is such a generic gift I'd rather it not be the second gift.
So, I'm thinking of just waiting for it to go on sale and then delivering through mail their entire gift (tote bag and gift certificate/card) shortly before the wedding.
Is this acceptable?
Thanks! :)
