Try searching Pinterest for some jeans ideas for the e-sesh. There are dozens to choose from. And don’t forget that photographers can photoshop the blemishes on your knees and elbows out of the shots. If you’re worried, contact them and ask their opinion about it.

I wore a dress for half and changed to jeans and a cute top for the second half. I love the pictures from both parts! You could always wear cute tights under a skirt/dress if you feel more comfortable. They (tights)  always look so cute in pictures. 🙂 either way, I’m sure your pictures will turn out great!

I agree that you should definitely think about wearing some cute tights 🙂 Even if you’re not a tights wearing type of person, you’ll only have them on for a couple of hours and they’ll look super cute in your photos and that way you’ll be able to wear the outfit you’ve already picked out. Or perhaps leggings with some boots would look cute as well.

That being said, though I don’t have any photos, but jeans can certainly look cute!

I’m not sure what’s wrong with the photo, and if you’re wearing a skirt the only parts of the tights that will show will be your legs and knees which are the areas you wish to cover. I’m pretty pear shaped myself, so I actually rarely even wear jeans myself (I only own one pair for when I go horse riding), and I think tights paired with a skirt is a pretty universally flattering look.

I think jeans can be feminine but only if they’re styled correctly, with soft textures, girly colors, and girly jewelry or accessories. Otherwise they just seem very casual to me.

If you’re going to wear jeans then I would keep them dark (more flattering and harder to see any wrinkles).

Also I would consider wearing a blouse, or adding a blazer to make the look more feminine.

FWIW, I really love the way dresses look in e-photos though! They just scream feminine to me.

zamorski:  I’m also pear shaped and I love wearing tights with dresses and skirts (especially in the winter)! I just make sure that when I do, the dresses are “skater” style and the skirts are “circle” style so they flatter my shape and leave room underneath for tights.

I wore jeans and a cute cardigan. FI also wore jeans, if your photo’s are in the city I think you can pull off jeans.

zamorski:  I know nothing about photo editing, but maybe they can photoshop your skinned knees out of the photos? LOL
