Personally I think that having similiar silhouettes is really cute! And I love those dresses!
I think they look great! and they will be different colours so it's not like you won't be able to tell you apart :) i say go for it!
Definitely don't worry about it- very cute and if your bridesmaids love it, let them wear it! :o)
Thanks ladies! I got really nervous because someone said that they looked too much alike. But I've been shopping for months to find dresses that we all love and can afford. Thankfully my dress is only $318 from the Tango line by Moonlight Bridal and theirs are $168 from the Ava line by Mori Lee. I'm so excited now that I have all of your reassurance!

I think both dresses are great, and they definitely have different feels to them. Besides, the color of the BM dresses is so bright (and beautiful). I say go for it!
it ultimately depends on what you want, but i agree with the others, i think you and your bridesmaids will look really nice in a similar silhouette. and GREAT choice on the wedding and bridesmaids' dresses--they're stunning!
I think they're gorgeous! They're similiar but your dress has a bit more of a dramatic skirt on it so you will definitely be the star of the show - their dresses will be the support act! Love it! Makes me want to be a glamourous BM now!

While most people frown on it today, some more adamantly than others, they also fail to realize or accept that when bridesmaids originated in the first place, they wore the exact same dress as the bride. The idea was to have a group of women to distract the evil spirits from kidnapping the bride. Prior to the Middle Ages, there was no such group of attendants for the bride.
As long the dress is flattering on everyone, go with that style if that's what you want. Do what makes you happy. If you try to please other people who don't even matter, then you will be miserable and regret your day.
It will look great in pics! No matter what you will stand out and the bottom of your dress flares out alot more! Good choices!

Very pretty! I think it will look very nice since the silhouette of the BM dresses is slightly smaller than yours, as long as yours is the wow one, which it is, you're fine. Good choices!
I think it would look really nice! You will still definitely be set apart enough in your beautiful gown.
Originally, the bridesmaids were dressed almost exactly like the bride... if you look at vintage pictures, they even had veils albeit shorter than the bride.
So having the same silhouette is actually cool.

I found a dress that I love and they found one that they love. The only problem may be that they're similar. My dress will be white and theirs will be red.

and theirs (but like I said - they'll be red and without the flower thingy)
Is it okay? Or are they too similar?
