caterer, that is! I found a caterer with good reviews and in our price range. I got a quote from another caterer that was way too expensive. So, is it bad to go with the first one? Should I be scheduling multiple tastings and scowering the bulletin boards for recommendations?
How many caterers did you consider before making your selection?

We got quotes from every caterer on the list our vendor had approved. There were only two in our price range, haha.
If the price is right, they have awesome reviews, and you like their food, I say go for it!

There is nothing saying you have to check out multiple caterers before you make your decision. The only reason I would do this was if I was not satisfied with the first. Once you are and everything is within your budget then I think you should stick with it.
I am also going with my first choice and I dont plan on changing it even if there is another that’s just as good or better

I went with my first, and really didn’t even consider anyone else. I had tasted their food at another wedding a few years back, and they were on my list of preferred caterers. I essentially told them I was choosing them before we even had the tasting. At the tasting everything was great as expected / remembered and our reception is next month! I say go for it! You can afford it, they have great reviews, and you like them! No need to make it harder on yourself!

Nothing wrong with shopping around! Most caterers won’t let you have tastings until you put some money down or else they’d be out ALOT. Keep that in mind if you want to have tastings. Some places have a open house night a month where they do food samplings.
