I've been looking for a dress for the rehearsal dinner and found one I really like. The only thing is that it's black. Is that okay for a rehearsal dinner? (I know a lot of people wear white). We're having a picnic in the park for the rehearsal dinner and it's a black sundress. Do you think it would be okay if I added colorful accessories?

I've seen black used for rehearsals and I plan on wearing it for mine. After all, we are already wearing white the day after :)

I think black is fine.  Play it up with some colorful shoes and other accessories.

Sure, white not! The best thing about black is that you can brighten it up with colorful accessories like your jewelry and shoes. I say if you love the dress, just wear it!

I'm wearing black...I think that if you feel good in it, you should wear it!

I think I may skip the whole dress idea :-) So I think black is fine. Our dinner is most likely taking place at a BBQ place that we both love, so I'm thinking it'd be nice to put my boots on and my favorite jeans to enjoy the night.

I think black is totally fine.  I didn't wear it to my RD, but I've worn it as a BM to a RD before.  There's nothing classier than a Little Black Dress!

I think black is fine and I might go with a black and white ensemble myself!

I always think you should wear something you feel good in and if that is a black dress, go for it!! There is nothing wrong with that
