i am so sick of ppl asking me "how's the planning..." and the their shocked looks when i reply "it's almost over, i can't wait for it to be done!"
don't get me wrong, i am SO incredibly excited to marry the FI and i KNOW that the day is going to FLY by... but this planning just gets to be too much sometimes!
HAHA the question "how's the planning" - sorry but that just irritates me! i know they're just making small talk but ugh! lol. :)
I'm soooo with you June_Bride! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm also so sick of people being like, "you don't seem excited". But what do they want me to do? Am I supposed to be doing cartwheels all day? Or have a creepy ear to ear smile all the time? You would think they'd appreciate the fact that I don't bring up the wedding with every conversation. Jeez!.... is it over yet? Lol
Um, yes. I so badly didn't want one to begin with, so now that I'm in the thick of it, I am SO OVER IT!
Yep, can't wait for the wedding day! Sick of the wedding planning. Especially can't wait for the honeymoon! :)
I'm excited to start my new life, but it hasn't been too bad, I just keep remembering more and more that needs to get done. And off I go to another fitting...
I agree - I just want everything to be done! I want my free time back, not to mention I can't wait to go on the honeymoon.
I'm thinking I will savor it all. I was married before and it went badly. The marriage did NOT live up to the wedding. That was over ten years ago. We aren't engaged yet, but have been discussing wedding, marriage for a few months and also looking at prenups, durable power of atty, wills, and we start couples counseling on Friday. Maybe because I've done it before, I'm not so worried about details. I look forward to the day that we declare our commitment to each other in front of our loved ones.
Both FI and I can't wait til the wedding is over! This whole wedding planning is too time consuming and stressful.

ok - so yes, I'm absolutely excited and happy about my wedding - don't get me wrong...but seriously - almost too often right now - I find myself thinking "is it over yet?" "GOD I can't WAIT for it to be over with!"
