So my husband and I are currently TTC (really NTNP, so we’re not timing BD. Just happens when the mood strikes) and I’m wondering if there’s any way that I could have conceived this cycle. I am currently on CD 18 and 1 or 2 days DPO.
DH and I BD on CD 10 and CD 17. We also BD on CD 13 but got interrupted so didn’t…um… reach the finish line. I am not temping, but took a few OPKs: CD 12 was negative, CD 15 was a blazing positive, CD 17 positive (less positive than the previous, but still positive).
Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night due to nipple pain, something that has never happened to me before to this degree. I’m not sure if this is ovulation related or an early sign of pregnancy. My nipples have been sore today as well on and off. I also have dull lower back pain. In addition to a few physical symptoms, I also just have this “feeling”. I don’t know.
Need some opinions from you more experienced bees out there. Could I be pregnant? I know it’s still too early to take a pregnancy test, but just wondering if you thought it could be possible.

It is to early to feel any symptoms. Nipple pain is common right after ovulation though

You could be feeling O symptoms, but definitely not pregnancy symptoms unless you’re pregnant from another cycle. Since you’re not charting your BBT, you have no way of confirming O, but assuming you O’d on CD17, and you’re on CD18 (right?), then you’re only 1DPO. The egg doesn’t even start the implantation process until around 7-8DPO, so you’re not pregnant yet. However, you could get pregnant this cycle from the sex on CD17. I’d continue having sex for a few more days just to make sure you catch O.

You timed BD where you may have been sucessful, but it is much too early for symptoms. At days 1-2 DPO, the egg and sperm are just a zygote still in the fallopian tube.
I’m 3 DPO and it is hard not to symptom spot because I’m so hopeful, but with every symptom (real or imagined) I just remind myself “damn progesterone, that is one sneaky lady!”.
If you can, distract yourself for the next 10 days or so to prevent symptom spotting. Then please come back and let us know the results! FX!

It’s totally possible!!! I’ve gotten pregnant after one time BD 4 days before O. BUT, I agree with PP that any symptoms you’re experiencing are related to O or other hormonal changes. Basically, if it’s too early to test, it’s too early to feel symptoms. You’ll start to feel real pregnancy symptoms (if you get them, that is) a day or two before your test turns positive, at the earliest.
