i’m not sure if that made much sense. but i’m in love with this ring however, the diamond is barely higher than the halo from the side. I’ts not that big of a deal at all. I’d love it either way, but I’m curious if it’s even possible to change that.

this is the one that i’m getting.

i’m wondering if it’s possible to take this to my guy and get him to raise the diamond so that the halos are a little more underneath the diamond.
i have no idea what is and isn’t possible with these things haha

alerose: I know you can do it, but usually it’s on a case-by-case basis depending on the setting. Take it to your favorite trusted jeweler and see if it’s even possible with your setting first 🙂
If you haven’t gotten the ring yet, contact the jeweler and see if they can custom make it for you.

I’m pretty sure this can be done although sometimes some altering to the setting may be necessary. Using longer prongs to allow the stone to sit higher I believe. I have seen halos where the stone sits above the halo so it’s a pretty common request and all comes down to preference how high or low you like the stone to sit.
