Renault Winery and it pretty much includes everything for 70 for the cheapest meal.

Definately! My Goal was to keep it under $90pp and I found so many great places. Also many places offer great discounts for a Friday or Sunday night wedding, most will take off an average of $10pp and add on some extras too. I’m having mine at Running Deer for $85pp, which was a little more than I was hoping for, but I fell in love with it the moment I walked in the door so there was no turning back. It literally includes everything though (cake, centerpieces, linens, etc). Try checking out Valleybrook, Renault, Luciens, Brigalis, Blue Heron Pines, Scotland Run, Trump National. Those were just a few of the locations I visited and they were all $80pp or less and a few were willing to work with us on price too. There are really so many options I was surprised. I even got Luciens to go down as low as $65pp, but I decided against it cause the particular room for the amount of guests I have was a little too small for my liking.

@JrzyGurl:  The best kept secret in South Jersey – Tavistock Country Club!  And if you are open to having your wedding on Sunday or Saturday afternoon; prices start at $63.00 per person for a sit down meal.

The only issue is having someone from the club sponsor you.  While waiting for the banquet manager, we asked people walking in the door to sponsor us.  They chuckled and said yes!

I’m getting married at the Silver Decoy Winery in Hightstown.  The rental fee is only $1000 and you can use whatever vendors you want and BYOB (except wine, you have to use their wine)!  We found a caterer that will do it for ~$65/person and that includes a DJ.

@JrzyGurl:  It’s the Wedgwood Country Club.  We just did our tasting this weekend and the food was good.  It’s closer to $80pp if you have them provide the alcohol too, but since we have to use the venue’s wine, we’re going to bring our own beer/liquor and save ~$15/head.  It also includes a cake and floral centerpieces, but I think we might choose our own florist which reduces the cost lilke $3 per person.  This is for a buffet with a whole bunch of stuff on it, but plated dinners are also very reasonable.

Depends on size of your wedding and not sure if you’re a Sat wedding, because that matters too. But try Paris Caterers in Blackwood. They have 3 size rooms, we were shocked at $71 per person.

Yes, we found a place in Freehold starting at $50pp for food and venue, up to 175 people. It’s my back up plan for if (probably when) my budget doesn’t allow my first choice

I know this thread  is old but check out davids country inn, Bridgewater Manor, or Bank St. Annex in Easton, PA. Also try the brownstone people say they will work w/ you. Someone on th knot said they got their wedding for $65 a person. We booked Davids Country Inn for $88 p/p plus tax and tip but we get a lot for the price. It includes a cake, centerpieces, and favors. =)

@JrzyGurl:  that’s our first choice! How are you finding things so far with them?
