It’s not sad, but you need some hobbies. 😀

And the other thing? Don’t be surprised if it doesn’t go the way you envision it… real life has a way of doing it’s own thing.

PS – decided on a wedding date?
Sounds to me like you might be engaged… have you guys started the planning process yet?

@Katie918:  I do it too! I’m in med school and I’m stressed a lot! It’s a nice break for me to “plan” and watch say yes to the dress when I have time

@Katie918:  Not sad! I have my entire wedding not only planned in my head, but also on paper and I have even already bought my bridesmaids dresses, MY dress, invitations, and have chairs/tables/tablecloths AND the venue ready to go. I’m just waiting on that official proposal!

@Katie918:  My thought process is that I know its coming, and I find good deals so I buy them! Buying all of that stuff so far, I have only spent $135 total so far. I find GREAT deals.

And I feel like, sooo many brides are so stressed out planning their wedding. So I figure that if I legitimately plan it all now (for real plan, not just in my head) then I won’t be a stressed out fiancee and can actually enjoy my engagement, because so many brides just don’t!

@Katie918:  Yeah, my SO has told me that he only wants a 1-2 month long proposal. AND that we’re going to be married this summer. So if I don’t plan now, it may not happen. haha.

Not sad at all!!! ALthough I havent purchased anything, I have fully planned out my wedding, guestlist, designed stationary, found my top 3 dresses and my bridesmaid dresses. The only thing i havent done i purchase anything (but i really want to! especially my dress since i feel like it could become discountued any day!!! here’s hoping for an august proposal.

Sidebar, I hae a number of friends who are engaged and planning weddings for later this year and they have said to me repeatedly how much they wished they did some planning before hand because they are sooo stressed out!
