So I am just over 11 weeks pregnant. Everything has been going well so far and on track. I am a huge knitter and wanted to know if its too early to start my knitting for my baby? I wanted to start knitting some neutral booties and hats (since I am due in the dead of winter). Would you start your little projects this early or would you wait?

I started mine that early. It’s whatever you are comfortable with

why not? i’m sure if anything did happen you could donate them or save them for someone else.

I started making gender neutral stuff almost right away. I love an excuse to crochet!
This pregnancy we arent finding out the sex until birth so I made blanket/ hats to go with the two coming home outfits we picked– whichever we dont use, we will donate to the hospital!

missjewels: It’s totally up to you. I kinda waited to get excited until after we heard the heartbeat at 11.5 weeks- then it seemed more certain that the pregnancy would end in a baby, to me and my husband, anyway. You’re almost out of the first trimester so if you’re feeling good about things I’d say go for it! Congratulations!

Go ahead and start! That nesting instinct is only going to increase… 🙂
