Do you mean you're looking to sell items now that you're planning to use on Jan 1st, 2010?
I would say a little early, yes. People may change their minds between now and then. You may also be surprised to find that your vendors may want to purchase things you bought or even guests. I'd say I would be less likely to "buy" something now because it hasn't even been used yet. I'd wait to see what it is like "as is".
Yes, I'd wait a little bit- October sounds like a good month- thats right around when I will be furiously shopping!
I would be cautious of "pre-selling" any wedding items. After my wedding, so many things were missing, dirty, trashed by a downpour, or missing parts or packaging. We had many very good vendors, but things got tossed around in the chaos. You might not be able to sell some things after the wedidng is over, so be careful about promising things to people.
Yea, I'm thinking I'll deal with all that stuff when we get back from our honeymoon. My main thing is its all at my mothers house because there is so much and she has a whole room full of wedding stuff. I just have so much stuff that I really think the pictures will be fine, and I'm really ok with selling everything.
But I think waiting like snmcdowell said is a good idea. Just in case things do get damaged, etc. I may put some stuff up that I don't use come October/November.
Thanks ladies..;)
I'm also thinking that it might be best to be able to use photographs from the actual wedding in order to sell things. It gives people a nice sense of how all the pieces can come together.
Besides, come January or February, you'll find tons of brides looking to get ready for April and May weddings.
Your theme sounds beautiful! Depending on when I get the ring I would be very interested in some of your decor. Our tentative date is December 31, 2010 so I'll definitely be looking at th time you're posting.
You're definitely an early-planner!
You should wait until your wedding date comes a little bit closer. What if the items get damaged in between these many months? Pictures would also be nice to see the products.
Thanks ladies;)
I do have a ton of beautiful crystal theme, elegant stuff. I think you all are right too about taking pictures of what it will look like at the wedding. I seriously have so much stuff and I have no clue what I'm going to do with all of it. But I'm sure my wedding coordinator and I will come up with stuff. I was just too in love with everything to pass it up! ha;)

I have bought a ton of things for my Jan 1st wedding. Everything is very elegant, crystal theme. My colors are Ivory, and champagne antique look to it.
My question is Im going to sell EVERYTHING! and seriously I mean EVERYTHING I've bought to decor this wedding. Would it be too early to start selling my stuff now? Or should I wait til a couple months out?
