Is it too early to set up a makeup/hair trial?

My stylist said she wanted to do the trial a week before, otherwise she wouldn’t be ale to remember and recreate the style we did!

You could check her quality of work and use it to determine if you want to work with her, but I’m not sure I would plan on it being your only trial!

It is a little earlier than the “average” trail, but I think you will be fine.  When I do makeup trials I like to try a few different looks on my clients so they can see their options though, and that might be harder to do if because you are going to want your hair and makeup to go with the photo shoot and maybe not necessarily thinking specifially for the wedding.  I think you could take pictures of the hair though so that she remembers what she’s doing.

I’m going to do my hair trial about 6 months before my wedding since my hair stylist is in Nor-Cal and I live in So-Cal.  I figure my schedule is going to get a lot more hectic the closer I get the wedding, plus i have a basic idea of what I want…but i want to show her my veil/tiara and see her at work.
