- Wedding: November 2013
We are having a destination wedding in November 2013. We choose this because we have friends and family around the globe. (I’m from Canada and FI is from US and we live in South Korea & have many friends here, too.)
I’m the type to completely over organise and started my planning in October of 2012. At that point I asked my two younger sisters (25 & 15) and two friends that I thought would be able to make it (with the intent of financially assisting if necessary as one friend is in grad school currently.) My 25 year old sister and my two friends are super excited. My youngest sister wants to walk with my (at time of wedding) 22 month old Daughter as senior? flowergirl, but that’s another story….
We have sent out over 200 invitations, all family and friends have been invited. I didn’t expect most people to be able to make it, but wanted to ensure that everyone knew they were welcome and we did think about them. So far our guest list is between 30~40 people which is awesome.
I have a friend who I really didn’t think would be able to make it as she has a young daughter (single mum) but surprised me by being one the first to sign up with my travel agent.
I would love to include her in my bridal party but i’m unsure of how to ask months after I confirmed my other girls? Would it be more appropriate to ask her to participate in other ways (reading, etc.)?
