Weddingbee boards

I had a serious medical issue come up since getting my two dresses for my wedding (one for the ceremony, one for the reception). It's a really long, personal story behind it all that I haven't been able to get the courage to share with even my close friends yet. Both my dresses fit like a glove when I got them but now due to the situation, I found that my ceremony dress (which luckily I am able to wear off the rack) no longer fit and I had to swallow my pride and order a bigger size. And so I am not sure if my reception dress will fit me anymore which of course is non-returnable and non-exchangeable. My wedding is in 45 days. I am obviously running out of time, and not to mention, money as well but I've been really scared to see if the reception dress still fits but I'm going to find out this weekend (when my mom is able to be there with me for emotional support). If it doesn't fit then is it too late to get a different dress and have time to alter it and everything?
