This is my first post, but I’ve enjoyed reading others. I’ve been planning my wedding even before I was engaged (dating the love of my life for 12 years) and now that he’s put a ring on it I have to make some real choices. SO i need the help of all you wonderful Bees!
I would like an outdoor wedding venue that can hold a ceremony and a reception. I would like to spend no more than $4,000 on the site fee and ALL rentals for 150 people or less. That means tables, chairs, and since I want to BYO caterer that doesn’t provide flatware/glassware/plates I would need those too.
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!
Also, I have done a lot of research on BYO venues in So CAL for under $5,000 site fees so if you are interested just let me know.

@happy8sweetheart: I’m getting married at Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. It is just a little over your budget at around $5000 for a 10-hr rental. It looks really humble but has a great outdoor patio. It includes tables and chairs. You’ll have to rent everything else. My caterer is Summit Events and they’re super great and their rentals and food prices are really affordable! At least for the RPV area this is the cheapest venue you can get.

I booked my venue last week at the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach. It was $1546 for the venue from 9 AM – midnight and that includes liability insurance ($141) and the refundable deposit ($500). I am a resident of Huntington Beach and got the Resident prices, but it is still the cheapest, cutest place for ceremony AND reception in OC. It is all BYO (catering, alcohol, ect.).
