I’ve just found some gorgeous shoes that would be so pretty (and cheap!) as wedding shoes. They’re lace, 3 1/2 inch heel (I’d need to train myself in heels) white peep-toe shoes. They’re a bargain too: http://direct.asda.com/george/womens-shoes/lace-peep-toe-heels/GEM278643,default,pd.html
Only problem is, we are very much in the starting block wedding-wise. We haven’t set a date yet, and I haven’t even been out once to look at a venue or dresses! Not to mention we’re not getting married for at least another year – but the shoes are so gorgeous and I don’t want to miss them!
I’ve been thinking, is it worth buying them anyway? Or should I wait?

@ZebraPrintMe: If you love them, buy them. They may not work with the dress you eventually choose, but you might be ableto wear them to a shower or rehearsal dinner if you have one.

I bought mine before my dress 🙂 it helped because I could try on my final dress choices with the right heel size. Buy them!

I purchased my shoes before my dress. I knew what I wanted and that they would match any dress. Here is a pic:
