Our website music is Don't Stop Believin' by Journey, Crazy in Love by Beyonce, A Little Less Conversation by Elvis, Forever Your Girl by Paula Adbul, and Love of my Life by Santana and Dave Matthews. We were going for silly, eclectic, and nothing weepy and we've gotten a lot of compliments. I love your idea of frat music!
@amac - I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that strayed from the typical "softer" music I usually hear on websites! We thought maybe we will change it up throughout the next few months as it gets closer. It's kind of an omage to our parents and one of our first dates (beer and animal house).
Uh, I'm having a formal wedding and this is the sort of music I'm going to play AT my wedding, don't see why it's not appropriate for website. It's what I think is most fun!
When I hear those songs, I don't associate them with Animal House. Yes, I know they are in the movie but those are more like good-time classics for me. I think they are fine (and for the ppl at out wedding, expected!)
@vegan and GaB - PHEW! Sometimes in wedding planning I just don't know if I'm totally in the outfield with ideas, thanks for the input!
It's your wedding, girl, do what you want!
I, for one, am growing weary of the 'shoulds' related to this life event, and the expectations that are assumed around the ritual; I thnk we'd alllllll be better off with a little more 'Shout-Louie-Louie-Togas at my wedding would be completely accepted and not frowned upon whatsoever'!
Rock on for doing things your way.

I built our wedding website a few weeks ago but couldn't find a good pic to put in there. While at work I went ahead and threw in my background from that computer - a picture of Otter from Animal House in his dorm room, in all it's glory:
Well, we are pretty silly types and I thought - hey? Why don't we add some 60's frat party music and really set the fun tone for this shindig? I loaded Shout (Isley Brothers version), Louie Louie (Kingsmen), and some other songs. What do you guys think? Keep in mind Togas at my wedding would be completely accepted and not frowned upon whatsoever.
