@heavenslight:  is your font so off that it will look bizzarre if you hand-fix them? Show us a pic maybe we can help!

I don’t think it’s an issue at all!!! Breathe.  We are all over-thinking things.  As long as it’s the correct date, it’s all good 🙂

A lot of modern wedding invitations I’ve seen don’t write out the date in full. Including mine! I guess it depends if the cost of re-printing is worth it to you.

Unless your wedding is black tie, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

@heavenslight:  I completely misunderstood- I thought your typo was the misspelling of “ceremony”.  Do you have a wedding website??? You could clarify on there!

Who cares? Geez. Think to yourself… if you received an invite with the date printed as we’re used to it, would you suddenly go all etiquette-police and be like OMG THEY DID IT WRONG. Lol I wouldn’t. Honestly I find it a bit pretentious to spell it all out, but that’s just me.

@jasonkatie2014:  there’s nothing to clarify. I believe OP is worried because she didn’t spell out the date fully.. that’s all. The date is correct.. it’s just not spelled out.

We are having a casual, intimate wedding.  Here’s our invitation for comparison.  We used an informal date style because I thought it looked nicer than the formal written out date.

@canarydiamond:  I get it.  I was just saying if she wanted to, she could have it spelled out on her site.  Just trying to be helpful because she obviously seemed worried about it.

@jasonkatie2014:  Kinda ironic since I think most people would find it easier to see October 19, 2013 since that’s the way we’re used to seeing it. This wedding etiquette baffles me at times lol.

@canarydiamond:  I agree that wedding etiquette is ridiculous most of the time – which you can definitely tell if you’ve seen my past posts on my invites/STDs!- I just know that it matters a lot to most people, so that was my only intention for “clarification” on her website if that would make her feel better, an alternative to her stressing out and spending more $$ to reprint unnecesairly.

@jasonkatie2014:  Oh yeah, I totally understand. I just meant in general I find some wedding etiquette to be so silly.
