Dont stress too much - computer monitors vary in color greatly, so ivory could look yellow on yours and very white on mine. I had the same fear. Request a fabric swatch from the store
It's probably the photos that are making it look yellow.
Have you tried Googling your dress style to see if it's been worn by anyone else? They may have better quality photos from their fittings or their actual wedding.

The shades vary of course, but I remember being surprised when I asked about colors. I had the opposite concern and didn't want it to look too white so I was nervous when I found out that what I thought was white was actually ivory! Don't stress it, it will look amazing!
Thanks for the info. I have googled my dress and found it on one other person, but couldn't tell what color it was. I'm not TOO worried, just wanted to get an opinion mainly. :)
It depends on the dress designer. There are some "ivory" dresses I would call light gold. But my dress is ivory and is way more toward the white side. It just depends. I would say if you tried on the ivory in the store don't worry about it. It's probably just the monitor. 
I don't know which designer you ordered, but I wore Casablanca's ivory. Personally, I don't think it looked yellow at all. I actually didn't even really notice the color difference, other than the fact that ivory was flattering and the white made me look sickly.
I think each computer is different but online photos scare me senseless too!

I know I tried on the dress I ordered in ivory, but now seeing it online it looks so yellow and I don't remember it looking like that! How yellow is ivory? Am I worrying for nothing?
