Unless it's made of lightweight sheer material, July in most states is incredibly hot. You could wear it for a couple pictures and then take it off if it doesn't work for you.
It's up to you. Some ladies still wear long sheleved bridal gowns in july. It's what they are comfortable with. As pp said-for a few pics and then be done with it. But it's up to u. If you will later see it was a waste of money don't get it. Who know-maybe by next year you may not want one.
