I bought my dress thinking I was going to get married in August but we had to postpone. Now we are looking at a winter wedding but I am afraid that my dress is too flowery for a winter event. Let me know what you think. Dress: Christos Primrose.

That dress doesn’t read “flowers” from the photo, to me. It reads “lace,” which is totally winter appropriate.

I think it will be perfect! Lace can be a very wintry look, and ballgowns definitely are.

It’s beautiful no matter what season.

I think that dress will work. You can add a small jacket or wrap to make it more wintery / keep you warm. Beautiful dress btw! 🙂

I think it looks like a winter dress. I think the texture on the bottom is great and will work with a winter wedding.

Gorgeous dress and will be perfect for a winter wedding! Would also have worked for a summer wedding but my initial thought upon seeing it was ‘winter’!

That lace is so adaptable. It would look lovely in any season.
The lace will look floaty like snowflakes in winter and light and pretty in summer.

As soon as I saw the picture of your dress I knew it was Christos…AMAZING gown. Just gorgeous. And I agree with PP’s it DOES scream Winter!!! To the T! I was expecting to open up the link and see like an airy tea length dress or something haha. Noooo way, it’s awesome.
