    Hi all!!

I'm getting married in SW FLorida in June, and I just bought this Vera Wang dress at David's Bridal. I planned to get something light and silky, but when I tried this one on, I didn't want to take it off!! Do you think it's too much for a beach wedding?

Temps can be up to 90 degrees and the ceremony is at 3:30 pm (probably under a tent), but at least there will be a beach breeze. My fiance and the groomsmen will be wearing linen guayaberas.

I keep having nightmares about fainting in it because of the corset:) Do any hot-weather brides have success stories about staying cool?

Nope. Even the hip and shoulder accents remind me a bit of sea foam so I find it quite fitting.

The layers of soft chiffon (?) makes it super appropriate for the beach. Wear it! It looks great on you!

I think that dress is gorgeous and the fabric and styling have a really nice flowy feel.

I think the dress would look beautiful on the beach.

I think that you choose very nicely for a tented beach wedding. The detail actually makes me think of the white spray on the waves.

Perhaps I am the wrong one to ask since I am wearing a very big puffy gown with a train on the beach. But no, I don't think yours is too much...I LOVE it and I think it's perfect for your wedding!

I am honestly in love with your dress! I scan all these posts and I always think the dresses are beautiful but not one since I've bought my own has caused me to look twice and yours did. Great choice! You are going to be a vision on your big day!

I don't think so - it's very flowy, and has beach vibe to it.

I think it's PERFECT for a beach wedding. In fact, I don't see another setting that it would be appropriate for. Def not a church or hall wedding, it's gotta be beach or outdoors.  I love it, go for it!  As for keeping cool - I don't know what to say to you.  I got married in Jamaica in a WToo gown.  The breeze helps, as does all the adrenaline.  There's just so much going on that you won't really have time to think about the heat :)
