Okay, so I love my dress. I really, really do. It’s perfect. And maybe I’m just nervous/crazy but I’ve been looking at pics of my dress and I wonder if I made the right choice..the sample dress that I have pics up is a size small and it’s a weird angle so that might be it. I’m just not sure…

Not ugly. When you have the right size on it will be lovely.

@marinesfiance: Not at all. I think the photo is taken at a strange angle. It’s quite low and facing up. (When the person took it, were they seated?) It’s unnatural and skews the proportion of the dress, making it appear shorter and wider than it is. Photos taken at eye-level or from above, pointing downward, won’t do that.

You’ve just answered your own question. You love it. You feel amazing in it. That’s all that matters!
I agree the pictures aren’t the best, but pictures don’t usually do the dress justice, especially when the dress isn’t the right size. Your dress is beautiful, and will no doubt look totally different when it’s really YOUR dress- not the sample in the store. Chin up, you’re going to be a gorgeous bride!

I think it’s only the angle of the picture and the smaller size making you feel this way! It looks beautiful.

@marinesfiance: Is it my style? No.
Is it a beautiful dress? Um, it sure it! You are going to be a beautiful bride wearing a perfect dress that you chose just for you!
Once you get a normal angle picture of you in the RIGHT size then I am sure your doubts will go away 🙂

@maydeco: Yes, in fact he was seated and leaning back, lol. That’s a good point, though. I was thinking how the pics don’t look like my memory, but I wasn’t sure if it was the angle or my bad memory. I’ll do that when my size comes in.

If it helps, here it is on the model lol

You all have really good points. I’ve been waiting it out, crossing my fingers for my dress to come in, and hoping it’ll look even better so I guess that’s what I’ll just have to keep doing.
