@GooteyBootey:  I have no idea, I’d take another test to see but I think it’s just as likely it could be your cycle regulation as it could be that you’re pregnant.

@GooteyBootey:  I’m a firm believer in you know your body better than anyone so if you think you’re pregnant you probably are.  With my oldest I knew I was pregnant long before I got a +.  I think I took like 5 tests that all came out – and I was so frustrated because I knew I was.  I had no symptoms other than like you said a little voice in my head telling me I was.

Take another test, worst case it will come up – again.

my best friend got pregnant immediately after removing her IUD. Her period was so wacky, all over the place, spotting, etc. She got a BFP within a month.

Take a test, if it’s negative then it’s removal symptoms.  Easy as that.

I was about to ask which IUD beacuse if it was paraguard you’d have your regular cycle. Since it’s mirena, hard to say since it has hormones in it. Never hurts to test again.

Going off hormonal BCP can be weird on your cycles.  It’s possible to get pregnant immediately after going off or it’s just as likely that will have some cycles that are a little screwy as your body readjusts itself.  I think it could go either way.

I would test to make sure and if it’s still negative, wait a week and retest until you get an answer or your period.

@AlmostMrsShield:  Once I finally got a + don’t think I still had any pregnancy symptoms except what happens in the 2 and 3rd trimesters.  Boobs got bigger, feet swelled.  I did have some nausea, but I found I was nauseated if I didn’t eat anything.  So after eating a banana or whatever then I was fine.  I also craved sweets for some reason.  Bite sized candies and Hershey Kisses were my friend.

@AlmostMrsShield:  Oh gosh, a month or 2 at least.  I remember thinking I was pregnant before Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving day I had heavy bleeding and severe cramping and I thought I was miscarrying.  Then December I skipped my period, took 2 tests that were negative.  End of December took another test that was negative.  January no period, took at least 1 more test that was negative and mid January FINALLY had a positive.  BTW this was all in 2001-2002, I don’t really think home tests are any more advanced than they were back then.  When I finally did get a positive, it was positive before the test stripe even showed up.  So that tells you how long it was before I got a positive.

@AlmostMrsShield:  I’ll send good thoughts your way that you are.  I loved being pregnant.  Even with my 2nd pregnancy when I had morning sickness.  There is nothing better than carrying a child.  I’d do it again in a heartbeat if FI would reverse his vasectomy lol.
