JoyfulFaith:  honest opinion: I find it a bit gaudy and would think it was costume jewellry. Not my taste

But who cares?  If you like it then wear it.

To me, yes it is too large. I don’t typically care for double halos though.

It’s not my style but if you love it rock it!

The center stone isn’t too big, but maybe the double halo is a bit much?  Then again, I have really small hands and only have small, dainty jewelry, so I’m probably not the best person to ask.

Your ring is stunning, though!

It’s really pretty; I like the ring and the fingernail polish

if you think it’s too big–maybe see if the jewler can take off one of the halos? Or set the diamond in another setting.

JoyfulFaith:  I love double halos, but honestly I feel like the 2nd halo detracts from the beauty of the large center stone in this case. I think that one halo would be perfect if you’re concerned about it appearing too large.

That said, I think that whether a ring looks “too big” depends a lot on the person who wears the ring. My ring is pretty flashy and large, but that’s a look I prefer. Some girls are born with glitter in their veins! 😉 If that applies to you, don’t second guess yourself. I do think it’s a very beautiful ring, and I’d rock it for sure.

JoyfulFaith:  It is really beautiful, but I agree with pp, there is too much of a good thing going on. I’d get rid of the second halo, or maybe go solitaire with a blingy band. I prefer step cuts as solitaires though, so take that with a grain of salt.

LDay1983:  My gut says real…..usually a humblebrag lists all the specs and a ballpark pricepoint, if not the actual figure.

I think a 1.5ct stone would look perfect as a solitare.  A big maaaybe for a single halo of that size, I prefer dainty halos so the focus is still on the center.  But the double halo is just too much imo.  It actually shrinks the center stone to me and pulls too much attention away from it.  I actually wouldn’t have guessed it was a 1.5 and thought it was closer to a 1ct.
