It takes up the entirety of your finger as is…what would you possibly add to it? You can barely even see the setting beneath the gigantic diamond!

FWIW, I think that with larger stones, less is more in terms of settings. Otherwise it begins to look too gaudy. Just my opinion!

arcusiris:  I think it looks wonderful. I certainly wouldn’t add a halo. I don’t think you can go wrong with Simple and classic  It’s timeless and beautiful.

That ring is not plain by any definition.

arcusiris: Yeah, I mean to be completely honest, they sound like they are just being catty because of the large stone. They probably just wanted to knock you down a few pegs. You have small fingers so I feel that adding more “stuff” would just look overwhelming. It looks classic and elegant as is.

Everyone has their own taste, but I personally think simple is beautiful! In this case, your diamond is the star of the show. I don’t think you should add anything to it.

I have a plain princess cut. I know the feeling everything is like halo, halo ,halo and I’m like well mine is plain. ( love halos also ) your ring is huge and timeless 🙂 I think I’m going to change mine after a few years and add diamonds to my band to jazz it up. I also can’t wait for my wedding band cause it’s so blingy I love it. Then I’ll be complete. Lol

I like the “plain” look too!  With such a large stone, you don’t want to distract from it.  If you were to change anything, I’d just get a wider band…not necessary, but it would look nice 🙂

i think less is more when you have a beautiful diamond.. whenever i see halos or really busy bands it seems like an attempt to make up for a not so nice centerstone… let the diamond be the focal point!! keep it simple! STUNNING
