@amoret11:  FI and I have the exact same take on social network PDA. 90% of the couples who engage in over the top, constant lovey doveyness on each others wall crash and burn.

@amoret11:  For me it depends. If i have particularly snappy of late I might make a post thanking him for putting up with me but they aren’t every day or all the time. Mostly I’ll send a message to his cellphone. But once in a while I’ll post something about loving my husband and family. I don’t spend 30 lines carrying on about it though.

I think it depends on the situation & the couple.

For us, we are very affectionate so PDA is the norm for us. Having said that, I am respectful of others & don’t go out of my way to make people uncomfortable.

@amoret11:  Ok yes now I understand. I guess for me its the same as I don’t mind a couple kissing and holding hands in public but when you starting full on making out i draw the line. Sometimes I just think some people don’t have filters

Didn’t vote because I find PDA really off-putting but I don’t mind it on social networks. I just don’t want it in my physical face, I don’t care what people write on their walls.

It has its time and place, but I mostly really don’t like it. It reminds me of teenagers at the mall

    Okay.. If I read anymore:

    “I love my man!!”

man replies: “I love you too baby”

    She replies “xoxoxo xox MWUAH!”

    He replies “<3”

Seriously… Get a message room or something!!

@amoret11:  I have one or two friends that drive me nuts with it. Maybe I just don’t understand.. I try not not tell the whole Facebook world about every single thing, let alone my personal sentiments and feelings like that. When I read it, I don’t even get a nice feeling. It’s just awkward and I don’t get how people still don’t think it looks really really strange!

I have a friend who made a FB account for her dog, and the “dog” posts in her wall: “woof, woof, mommy I love you so much, I miss you!!”

Then she replies to the dog: “Oh cutie I love you too, I miss you! When I’m there I’m going to take you out and etc, etc..”

    Talk about PDA…

I never understood PDA on FB or IG or myspace (whatever social network is popular)

But do I post on his wall and say how amazing he is and make a status about him every day? Helllllllllllllll no
