I love the back of my dress it's pretty much the whole reason I bought the dress (that and the fact that it's Jessica McClintock and was only $100) I'm worried that the front is too boring or looks like it's missing something.. what do you think? --fyi I bought it a little to big. I'm getting it fitted of course :)

I tend to like simplicity, so in my opinion it looks great as is.   What are your ideas for adding something to the front?  I'm not sure a sash or belt would work, since your dress is low cut in the back.

I LOOOVE simple dresses, and I love yours! It's gorgeous! Why not go for some really intricate jewelry--or something colored, like bright shoes or a bright necklace/earrings? You look great in it, btw!

I agree- it's gorgeous and so are YOU- what you add to the day with jewelry, and your BOUQUET will be amazing. Anything more in the front and your flowers would block it anyways!

The front of my dress is really simple too, but I think it makes it look so elegant and classy, as does yours! Once it's fitted to you and you have the whole look together, it'll look fab!

I think that it is perfect, classic, and timeless!!! The amazing thing about your gown is that you will never regret your dress decision because it will never be out of style! It is gorgeous AND you can't beat the price!

I think it looks great as-is.  If you want something extra, I'd reccomend adding a brooch to the top, between the boobs, lol.

I love the dress, classic and carefree.  I think once you have it fitted it will look even better.  It looks too big on you right now.

I think statement necklace and blingy bracelet (not tacky tho) to make it chic.

    I love the back!

Personally, I think you're very pretty and seem like you'd really shine in a dress like this, since it's more simple. I wouldn't really add anything or accessorize too much. I like the deconstructed bridal look that the Jcrew models have and I think you'd look good like that.

And also, hehe, you'll have your bib to accessorize during dinner! :-D

It's simple, not boring.  I would say you definitely need a statement necklace or something with a little color (earrings, hair clip) to make it pop and then you're set.

Repeat after me---My dress is not boring!  Good.  :)  Personally, while I like some dresses that have lots of details and beading, it can be hard to pull off and not look like it's "too much" or a disco ball.

I love your dress and you look so happy! Compared to my expression my consultant caught me in, I look silly but I love my dress too! I'm also biased because my dress is simple but I love it.  I agree with the other gals, once you have your hair done, bouquet, earrings, maybe a necklace but I personally wouldn't go too big in that department because you don't want to take away from the beautiful neckline it will be a complete look.  Thought about adding some fun colored shoes under the dress? :)  I'm doing that with red--oh la la I feel in red shoes!!

I also want to add that the back is fantastic and you don't see that too often.  Very unique and a statement.  Are you wearing a veil?

Be careful on adding anything to the dress. Sometimes a cut broach adds a little something to the dress and sometimes it can just look out of place and a little silly.

Crap! One last thing, that price for that dress is fantastic!!!

Curlysue- thanks! I'm not adding much to the dress at all. My hair will be half up with some rhinestone hair pins, but I wont have a veil and I decided against adding a brooch to the dress (fear of making it look out of place- like you mentioned it might)

I'll be wearing some fuschia heels, a simple necklace, and chandelier earrings :)

annnd a fuschia bouquet with a little bit of bling!

I think adding some beading to the neckline would look great!
