I just got my dress from outerinner.com. I know that I took a chance on the ordering a knockoff online from China. To my eyes the v-neck sits half an inch off instead of being centred. I’m not sure if it is an illusion or not becuase of the wraping/ruching. Sorry the image is so large, but please give me your opinion.

To me it does look a little off. Maybe not much because it does tend to have an illusion factor with the ruching and the one side being completely across the chest.
If you draw a line from the hollow of your throat straight down (perhaps hold a neckace chain or something that you can dangle down) where does it hit?
If you wiggle the dress so that it sits just a little to your right does that help?

It just looks like you need to have the straps altered so they are not so loose.

Yes, it’s a bit off. I think if that top piece of ruching was taken out or tucked away, it would be centered.

It does look off, but it looks like it needs to be altered anyway, so it should be an easy fix.

A little off as it is but definitely fixable either DIY or professionally. That top bit of ruche in the middle needs tucking in just a little bit.

dress looks loose. are you having it altered? if so, maybe they can fix the unevenness.

Yes, I would definitely talk to a seamstress to get that fixed. Pretty much all dresses need to be altered at least a bit for a wedding so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal to fix this.

Thanks for the confirmations. I wasn’t sure if it was just me being overly critical or if it actually was off. I will definitely be taking it to a seamstress to see what can be done. Hopefully the alterations don’t cost more than the dress!
