If YOU love it, and the way it looks on you, you should wear it! BTW- I still see plenty of brides with the sweetheart. :)
The sweetheart neckline will never go out of style - it is a form of strapless and strapless will never go out of style either!
Don't worry about it!
What's important is that you love your dress. If my dress (sweetheart, strapless, tulle) suddenly went horribly out of style I would still wear it proudly... because fashion sense does not always equal mainstream, and what is important is how you feel in it.
I agree with the other ladies - it's about personal style and what you feel gorgeous in. If my dress had been outdated by the time I wore it, I could have cared less. I felt so pretty, and so ME in it. And, that's what really matters.
what on earth gave you the idea its outdated?? i think its been a fashion constant since...well basically forever! i dont think it will ever be out of style, and i also think its extremely flattering to most women. i hope to find a dress with a sweetheart neckline!
I don't think it will ever look "outdated" because it's a very flattering cut for many women. I'm having my dress altered into a sweetheart neckline. If you love it, don't worry about it - you will look great :)
I hope not, because that's what I'm wearing in September :)
I'm also getting married in October, and also have a sweetheart neckline... there are still HUNDREDS of dresses out there with a sweetheart neckline.... I agree with gabrielleelise, I don't think it will ever go out of style!
wedding's in september and i'm wearing a sweetheart. its a super flattering style and i don't think it's going out of style any time soon
i hope not too, i'm wearing a DEEP sweetheart in february :)
I think the sweetheart neckline is a staple in wedding dress design. I doubt it's going anywhere in the next 5 years let alone the next 5 mos.
Wedding dresses aren't really about what's trendy as much as they are about what each bride finds flattering to her body. Yes there are trends, but I'm sure you picked your dress to reflect your style and the feel of your wedding - not because it's necessarily "trendy". I imagine in 15 years your dress will look outdated but not in the next few years - so don't worry about it.

My wedding dress has a sweetheart neckline. I bought it in March, and my wedding is in October. Is the dress going to look outdated? Should I look for a new dress? I don't want to be a tacky bride :S
