I just bought this, and I LOVE it. It was definitely worth the extra money for me. The pigmentation is much better than anything I’ve gotten at the drugstore (and I’ve bought a lot from the drugstore) and all of the colors coordinate together really well.

@AnnieAAA:  I have Naked 2 and I really like it. I think the allure of a large palette like Naked 1/2 is that it’s nice to have a whole range of shades right in front of you. That said, some of the shades are a little powdery and the pigmentation isn’t as great as I thought it would be. I still use some of my other drugstore (Physician’s formula) and department store (Chanel) eyeshadows even though I have UD Naked 2.

@AnnieAAA:  In short, yes. I love mine. I use it every day. As far as what makes it different, the pigments are higher quality so you need less and they last longer. UD is pretty legendary in terms of eyeshadow awesomeness. It’s really easy to do day looks, night time smokey eyes, basically anything.

I prefer Naked 2 over 1, but they are both great.  Yes, you will notice a difference, especially if you use eyeshadow primer.

@AnnieAAA:  I love it. It has a great assortment of colors, and I have blue eyes so pretty much all the colors complement my eyes (if you subscribe to the color wheel theories).

They spread easily, are highly pigmented, and I’ve had the palette for 2+ years now with no signs of running out of colors or the quality going down with time.

I haven’t bought drugstore eye shadow in years… I stick to the premium brands. I find drugstore eye shadow to wear off quickly and be really chalky and not very pigmented.

I swear by Urban Decay. I also love their Primer Potion to keep the eye shadow put!

YES! Normally I’m totally a drug store makeup girl, but I absolutely ADORE the Naked palette! I generally spend about $4/eyeshadow for a less impressive brand, so with the naked palette being 12 shades for $50, totally worth it.

The colors are amazing, they are incrediblly well pigmented, and you can do SO much with it! I ordered it off of Sephora so I got a mini primer potion as well, so I’ll be buying some more of that once I run out.

Buy the Naked palette! I plan on getting the Naked II palette very soon. 🙂

I just bought the Naked Basics and LOVE IT.  I didn’t go for the huge Naked 1 or 2 because I’m getting too old for the shimmery stuff.  I don’t have a lot of wrinkles (I am only 32), but the ones I have look a million times worse with shimmery shadow.

I digress – totally worth it, and get good primer!  I use the UD potion, too – it’s amazing.  I had been using Clinique and their primer sucks.

I’m gonna go against the grain. Im a huge makeup buff and I just hate the Naked palette. I find the shadows have a ton of fallout and don’t blend well together at all. However, I know there are alot of people who like it so might be worth it for you. If you buy it at Sephora they have a great return policy in case it doesn’t work out.

YES x 120-42808304-03-09420-90294.  Best ever.  I have 1 & 2, and I would splurge on both.  If I had to make a decision, I would go with palette 1.

Totally worth it – both 1 & 2! I have pretty much all the UD palettes. They’re the best!

@AnnieAAA:  I’m guessing you’re Asian? I am and I chose Naked 2 because I prefer more neutral colors. Naked 2 also has more contrasting shades. I find that blues can look really garish on Asians, so I would never use two of the Naked 1 colors.

I think you’ll like Naked 2 better. Foxy and Tease are lighter and matte, whereas Naked and Buck from palette 1 are matte but darker.

I slightly prefer Naked 2, because the shades Foxy and Tease are matte and they go on so well. They are perfect for a beautiful naked eye.
