(Closed) Is there anyway to 'remove' etching from glass?

try rubbing alcohol or some sort of paint remover.

If they are actually etched, the answer is no.

Is it safe to asume you notified David’s Bridal of their error? I’m quite sure that if you did,they would tell you not to bother returning the second set.

Given that it didn’t cost you anything, perhaps you could donate it to a thrift shop for some lucky DIY bride to come up with a solution. That seems like good karma to me.

what a cute set!

ya, i think that might be a tough sell…the next bride would have to cover it with something. etching isn’t removable, it’s “dug” into the glass.

the set is so cute, tho! my mom really wants us to do a unity thing. what’s the link?

i was thinking of just doing water…wasn’t sure i wanted to save the sand. but that’s pretty cute! 🙂

If you didn’t pay for the second set, I would donate it to a second hand shop and someone will pick it up and do something with it!
