I will never get over the fact that I have to drive for 40 mins to get there. And I will never get over the fact that the two coffee places around my workplace serve the worst coffee in the history of caffeine. And the thing is that I love my job.
Is there something particularly annoying about your workplace? The people, an annoying co-worker, the building or whatever? he answer ”I hate everything about my job ” will also be accepted lol 🙂

sweetis: i love my job, and my students, and my coworkers…even the one i’m about to rant about. she is always in my office, even when i make it obvious that i have no time for that. she eats loudly (we have adjoining offices, separated by a never-closed pocket door), whistles (and i don’t mean whistles a song, which isn’t super annoying to me. she just makes whistling noises…), talks at full volume TO HERSELF and even sings. it is so so so so irritating. plus she comes in here and she’ll pick up at the halfway point of a conversation we had like 3 days ago. so for example out of nowhere she’ll walk in and go, “yeah so i told her, you’ve got to stop doing that shit!” and i’m like who what where?? what? lol

I just sent my coworker a haiku:
Open-plan office; why do people talk so loud? I long for some peace.

Well I just found out why the receptionist hasn’t so much as looked at me in the last few days. She got a “talking to” about her attitude, and also some of her workload was taken from her and given to me. So she mad at me, and that is annoying me now.
Other things: My office is in an industrial area. I worked downtown for the last 7 years, so I loved being able to walk to grab a coffee or lunch. Now if I want to go anywhere, I need to drive. There are also no sidewalks here, so I can’t even go for a lunch walk.
I have no windows in my office. This was really depressing for me, as I like to have a touch of nature. I felt trapped for a long time and would cry when I came home because of this. Thankfully I’ve gotten used to it.
And lastly – I don’t have a lot to do. Most of the time I’m surfing the internet, WBing or FBing. I’m on my way to getting my real estate license, so I won’t be staying here forever, but it’s so boring.
Thankfully my co-workers are nice and we get along – obviously except for the receptionist lol.

My biggest annoyance is that there is no staff parking and parking here is ridiculously expensive. I was taking the bus to avoid paying the high fees but now the buses are on lockout 🙁 boo hooo hoooooo for meeee.

Oh parking..The greatest problem in my last job..Thank God I left

MissStoGee: this! i work in a sketchy downtown area where i dread winter when i leave when it’s dark and try to leave with a “buddy”. and public parking is $90/month! GAH.
and of course, the typical people who don’t understand “cubicle etiquette” – no loud talking, chewing, DO NOT CLIP YOUR NAILS AT YOUR DESK, etc… lol. love my job and my coworkers (most of them lol) though!

A couple of my coworkers just don’t seem to care about the job at all, and it’s tough to watch because I really do care!

1. Third grade girls leave the bathrooms a MESS. We have to share, and it sucks.
2. Fifth grade boys are gross at lunch.
3. Fifth grade girls are full of drama.
4. Teachers never read their emails!!!!!! At least the ones over, like, 35.
That’s about it. Ha.

Is there anything that doesn’t totally annoy me about my workplace?
Semi-kidding. My team is amazing. Most of my clients are great. The company and upper management are THE WORST.

- Wedding: August 2013 - Wynn Las Vegas
I get to work at 6am, and generally I don’t feel like chatting to my coworkers at all, especially since english is their second languag,e and it is kind of a challenge to figure out what they are talking about most of the time. I’m tired!
Also, I answer the phones for the office and you would be surprised at how many people can’t seem to work a phone. I get a ton of calls that hang up on me and then they try back about 30 seconds later.
