Hello Wedding Bee-ers,
I am searching and searching for simple gold votive candle holders. I have found TONS of these “amber” colored votive holders, but they aren’t really gold, but rather an orange-y color. Anyone know where I can find simple gold votive holders that look like this but are gold??? THANKS LADIES!! : )

Have you considered mercury glass ones?
There are tons of mercury glass and some clear glass ones here! http://www.lunabazaar.com/gold-color-candle-holders.aspx
The gold clear glass ones are square, though, so that might not work.

I was going to suggest the same thing LaborOflove posted. I picked some up at Target.

What about gold spray paint? If you can’t find gold votives, buy regular votive and spray paint them!

@violachap actually be VERY careful about that. If it’s not heatsafe, it could burn on the tables!

Most receptions don’t last long enough for the glass to get hot enough to damage the spray paint. It would have to be sitting there for 8+ solid hours at least, burning the entire time. The paint used is no different from gold paint that is applied to other glassware, and those are often used to hold candles, and they don’t have any burning potential.
But yes, spray painting a clear votive holder will be your best bet.
