Ok so our weddig is black and white with dark purple and apple green (from the calla lily stems and hydrangea). So we have all black chairs and the wedding party will be all black besides the flower. My idea was to hang alternating wicker ball and paper lanturns in green and purple with white hanging ribbon. Would that be too much color? Some people ahve suggested that I do white hangings with colored ribbons. I’m still torn between making green nd purple play a larger part or keeping them as accents because they are such intense colors.

I say go for color! I think in photos, its easy for a basic color palette to get lost. There will be so much black and white going on that I think the purple and green will pop and look great! But this is coming from someone who had blue and poppy red as her anchor colors and a rainbow explosion for flowers so…

I don’t think that would be too much color at all.

I think it will look great. Black and white are really neutrals, so the green and purple are your only colors.

I think that color palette sounds really nice. I love colors at weddings, adds a liveliness.

Do it. The white will be too much white.
