Have you done a rough estimate of how much it would cost you to make them? Does the seller have pics?
I saw the branches selling for $7 each on www.save-on-crafts.com. Not too sure how big the ones you are looking at. I'm sure You can get cheap black pots.....
i would wait. if your wedding is not until june 2011...unless you have storage somewhere then this would be awful. and dont rent storage just for this bc then that "deal" is no longer a deal :D

True right.. i just noticed the ad says some trees are 4 inches and some are 8 inches. 4 inches? that has to be wrong right?!

It depends. How tall are they? My decorator found me 3-4 ft tall ones plastered in a box for $ 12 each!
@EFRAU: where did your decorator find them? Anything online? I am looking for 2 trees or some branches that I can put together into a tree.
She found them in the Downtown LA Floral District. Originally FI and I were going to buy them and mount them ourselves, but were finding them for 10-12 a piece for just the branch. We are doing 8 manzanita tree centerpieces and are also haveing two 8 foot tall ones for the ceremony! Those 8 footers were $40 not including the plaster or box, but we can do that! I'm not sure which specific store it up and there are tons of them! I can ask her though! We are selling ours after the wedding but that's not until after October! I'm attaching an example of what mine are oing to resemble!

... eeeek now where am i going to keep 15 manzanita trees until june 2011.. hahahaha (living in a small apt.)!
