Just buy them all the same ones so it's not distracting. : (2 votes)

I'm planning on having a bridal luncheon at some point with my girls.  I was thinking we could go to this super cute tea room for high tea and then to the beadery next door and they could each make their own necklace (which I would pay for and give to them at the rehearsal dinner.)  I'm just wondering if that's a good idea because they're already wearing different shoes and dresses from one another in the same color.  Would it be too distracting if they have different jewelry too?  I would limit their choice of beads to colors of my wedding and neutrals, but I'm just not sure how it would look.  Anyone have pictures of bridesmaids wearing different necklaces?

I think that's kind of cute! I'm using beading in our wine glass charms, cake topper, bouquets, and anywhere else I can think of... including making my girls something to wear too! I really like the idea of the girls creating their own jewelry. Then it's personalized, and they'd probably be more likley to wear it over and over again. Everyone has their own personal style. I think that this idea would unify that! Go for it!

As long as your bridesmaids are game (and crafty!), it certainly is a very cute idea!
