Do they help setup and tear down?

We’re paying around 1200 for all of what you included plus setup and tear down<<to me the most important ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

We also have an onsite coordinator so we figure she’ll handle most of the vendor stuff.  We want our paid coordinators to make sure all the details get taken care of.

@newcitylights:  I can’t really comment on the price as it varies tremendously by location, but looking at that list, it seems like she’s doing a lot more than day-of coordination. A lot of the stuff on that list could be done in advance, which means you could do it yourself and possibly negotiate a price reduction (provided, of course, that you have the time).

Timelines, especially, are something for which there are numerous templates and people willing to give advice. Similarly, touching base with vendors to confirm contracts should be easy for you to do yourself.

It really depends on if you’re just looking for someone to take the pressure off on the day, or if you want all the lead-up prep done as well, but you could potentially negotiate a lower price based on some changes.
