Probably. Considering that just getting an updo can be over $40 and make-up around $25, then multiple by 7 and you get $455. Now if she's good to great, she could charge more. The a couple hundred for the assistant. Also, I am guessing that she's coming to you and will be with you for a while, that is to do everyone and touch ups for photos?
Will you have her do a run through on you first? I mean, if you don't like it there would be no point in hiring her.
This is totally normal for the city. I am in Los Angeles/Orange County. I am also paying $900 for 2 moms, 4 bridesmaids and me (tip not included yet)! soooo we're in the same range!
yeah where I live in NYC it's 80 for an updo and 30 for makeup and these are considered cheap prices for the city; multiply 120 x 6 you get 720 including two moms with blowdry and MU only its about 120 so $840 low end prices
yeah that sounds about right especially if you live in the tri-state area.
I would say that is a normal price for a stylist with experience and skill especially for a city.

Where are you located? Does your include a trail run? I live in the detroit area, and work at a reasonable salon. I charge $55 for an updo and $20 for make up. For bridal I charge $100 for an up-do and $30 for make up which both include a trail run.
I think it's pretty good. I'm paying about $400 for hair/makeup for myself and my bridesmaids hair (only). Plus, there is a travel fee. I say go for it!

This lady with assistant is going do my hair and makeup, 5 bms hair and makeup and 2 moms for $960 all day after tips. What do you think, its good price? I saw pictures of her works and it looks very nice.
