@sillysillybee:  could you get them delivered Thursday.  My aunt arrangedvmy flowers, I purchased bulk locally. Picked them up Thursday and arranged them before or after rehersal.  Kept them in the venue where it was cooler…

At least in my area (San Francisco), those prices are horrible. Based on what I paid from the flower mart, roses should be around $.50/stem, and hydrangeas $1.50-2/stem. Garden roses were $2/stem.

@sillysillybee:  I have found prices way way lower than what you are being offered.  Especially for the babys breath and hydrangeas.  I am getting 200 gorgeous white roses or pink for $124 total.  I am spending about $1,000 on flowers and getting 3 times as many flowers as you are getting.  I am helping my florist put together a lot of the centerpieces though, so we don’t have to pay for all the unneccessary labor.  have you looked up how to put together hydrangea’s and the center pieces you want?  Have you even tried to watch a youtube tutorial on putting together a flower arrangement.  Literally all you have to do is put them in a vase, they are the easiest flowers to make look nice.  In other words it is NOT worth paying someone a fee to put them together when you can get 3times the flowers and put them in a vase yourself.  Maybe see if any of your bridesmaids have a basement so you can do it yourself?

@sillysillybee:  Yea I also think you can save way more money. I plan on using the exact same flowers as you, except without the peonies, and I’ve priced them all out through Sams Club for like $400. DIYing them is definately doable though! I plan to do all the bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc. myself (with help from the wedding party of course) and i’m relying on youtube videos to guide my way. But I have the space for it. You sure you couldn’t convince a loving family member or wedding party person to volunteer their house for a few days?
