YIKES! 5 hours doesn’t seem like very much coverage for how much that’s gonna cost. I’m from the midwest though, so I’m sure prices differ greatly..

Yeah, that isn’t a good deal around here (DC area, which is gererally pricier that GA). If you really love her work, I would see how much the photographer is willing to negotiate. But if you are open to exploring other options, I’d do that ASAP.

What is the point of a DVD you can’t print from?? I think, depending on your area it is decent but I have yet to understand why anyone wants a disk they cant use to print. And maybe it is also just me, but 80 images in a book from a whole wedding doesn’t seem like much. Of course I am going with a photographer where I can make my own book, which was very important to me.  And is it saying, you ONLY get 125 images from your wedding to keep? Cause that seems unreal. Most ladies on here have several hundred pictures from their wedding, not 125.

That seems pretty high.  My package is 8 hours of photography, 2 photographers, 10×10 flush mount album with 40 pages, dvd of all photos (edited & retouched) with full photo release, web hosting of slide show for 3 months and an engagement photo shoot.  $3,000.00

A lot depends on the manufacturer and quality of the album.  Prices vary a lot.  I think if she included a dvd of the images with printing rights, it’s a fair price assuming her work is very nice.
